Data Acquisition Ruggedized Tool
KGB Aviations Solutions LLC has developed a custom tool that takes advantage of modern technology. Much of today's cell phone-like technology have been incorporated into the core system of DART. It can be remotely accessed through a secure web portal. The basic function of the tool is to connect to either an FDR or CVR and download the recorded data. Once the data is downloaded, DART will act as a secure data transfer tool, sending the data via several secure methods. You can also monitor the data from the recorder for the aircraft side troubleshooting.

Web portal
Data is automatically transmitted which saves the user time and removes the hassle of transferring large files. A secure AWS platform provides a confidential and instant access to the downloaded data using a password protected portal. CVR audio and FDR data is automatically transferred once connected to WiFi or via Ethernet cable.

Assets
As the interface is common to all of the recorders, only minimal training is necessary to use DART.
Remote technical support is available. DART has been designed to allow KGB’s engineering team to remote into your device (with your permission) and assist with troubleshooting while DART is connected to the recorder and Wi-Fi. KGB Aviation's engineers are more than capable, having years of experience and providing detailed reports.
KGB is ISO9001 and AS9100D certified and the readout services are adjustable to conform agency's regulations (FAA, CAA, EASA, CACAC, CAAS, ...).
Plus, we gather customer feedbacks and use them as a base for the next quarterly update.
Finally, connectors are military-style and a docking station is optional.
Rugged and easy to use
DART was designed to be the most rugged and reliable system in the industry Following the standard IP67, it functions in the harshest conditions. Designed on a Linux operating system, it provides a custom solution wich is reliable, robust, efficient and secure.
Thanks to its 7" screen, up to 32 parameters can be displayed simultaneously on the screen. To advance to the next group of parameters, all you need to do is push a single button on this very intuitive and efficient interface, this saves time. Those parameters can be monitored in engineering units (for example, airspeed in knots, altitude in feet,...) or in decimal, hex, octal, BCD or binary.
Versatility
With DART, you can download data and effortlessly send via WiFi and Ethernet while standing at the aircraft side, this is faster and more efficient. Moreover, you can extend WiFi range by attaching a WiFi antenna (supplied in kit).
Updates are pushed to DART remotely. With our maintenance program, your DART will be upgraded with enhanced features without shipping it back to our offices. The user can purchase and download new recorder capability directly to DART.
